Like so many others that have posted, I am heartbroken to have heard the news. It brings tears to my eyes to read these messages. It seems that I was not the only one that had the ultimate connection with Coach. He demanded perfection every day, and with that he earned everyone’s respect. Mike had such a large impact on my family including coaching my older and younger brothers, working with my mom and dad on the foundation and making sure to remember my wife’s name every time we saw him. Mike’s legacy will live on forever in the lacrosse community. There will not be a season that passes that we aren’t talking about the good old days with Coach.
